Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at AmerisourceBergen. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services, working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct inventory management, ordering and stocking of medications and supplies.
  • Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
Requirements
  • Pharmacy Technician diploma from an accredited college and successful completion of Structured Practical Training or successful completion of Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) Bridging Program and a Certificate of Registration with OCP.
  • Two or more years of related pharmacy experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Kroll required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingualism, French/English is an asset.
