Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team at Sodexo. As a key member of our Campus and Universities Division, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through targeted account development and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation/Prospecting – Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Communication – Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and other decision-makers.
  • Relationship Management – Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners to drive business growth and development.
  • Strategic Planning – Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and development, including identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to pursue them.
  • Database Management – Maintain accurate records of client contact and details, and use this information to inform business development strategies.
  • Pipeline Management – Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities, and accurately forecast future new business wins.
  • Time Management – Successfully multi-task and work within tight deadlines to meet business objectives.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of solid experience selling to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Experience selling food services, facilities management, or property management services or comparable services.
  • Experience in Campus and Universities sector would be an asset.
  • Experience in building trusted partnerships with our Indigenous partners would be an asset.
  • Experience responding to complex RFP's with large-volume, multi-service, multi-year contracts.
  • Experience with sales database management system (CRM).
  • Superior writing skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English is a very strong asset.
