Bar Supervisor

Head Over Heels is seeking a skilled Bar Supervisor to join our team. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our bar, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our bar area is clean and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and ensuring that the bar is stocked with necessary supplies.
- Train and supervise bar staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
- Manage cash and credit transactions, operating the cash register and handling customer payments.
- Order and maintain inventory of bar stock, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Enforce provincial and territorial liquor legislation and regulations, ensuring that our bar is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft and bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons, ensuring that orders are accurate and fulfilled in a timely manner.
- 1-2 years of experience in a bar or restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and to lift heavy objects.
