Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Sherry Carrier Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Delegate tasks to office support staff and establish work priorities to ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Carry out administrative activities, including coordinating office services, maintaining inventory and budgetary controls, and preparing reports and correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation of our operating budget and oversee the administration of office procedures.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, to support our office operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 to 44 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a private sector environment.
