Job Title: Community Centre Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Centre Worker to join our team at Community Welfare Plus Center Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Support Staff: Oversee and guide support staff to ensure the smooth operation of our community programs.
  • Administrative and Office Activities: Manage administrative tasks, maintain records, and perform office duties with precision and attention to detail.
  • Client Support: Assess clients' skill strengths and development needs, and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Program Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop, coordinate, and implement community programs that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent support to our clients.
  • Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff, ensuring that all necessary protocols are in place.

Requirements:

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
