Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Centre Worker to join our team at Community Welfare Plus Center Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising support staff, performing administrative tasks, and developing and implementing services within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision and Support
    • Supervise support staff to ensure effective delivery of services
    • Screen, recruit, and train volunteers and support staff
  • Administrative and Office Activities
    • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
    • Assist with office and volunteer staff supervision
  • Client Services
    • Assess client skill strengths and development needs
    • Develop and implement services to meet community needs
    • Assist clients with special needs
  • Housekeeping and Safety
    • Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients and staff
    • Supervise children's visits with parents
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
