Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Centre Worker to join our team at Community Welfare Plus Center Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising support staff, performing administrative tasks, and developing programs to support the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision and Support
    • Supervise support staff to ensure effective delivery of services
    • Screen, recruit, and train volunteers and support staff
  • Administrative and Office Activities
    • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
    • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Program Development and Delivery
    • Develop, co-ordinate, and implement the delivery of specific services within the community
    • Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs
  • Housekeeping and Safety
    • Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients and staff
    • Supervise children's visits with parents to ensure their safety
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Language
    • Fluency in English
Working Conditions
  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent position
