We are seeking an experienced Environmental Monitoring Specialist to join our team at Comcor Environmental Limited. As an Environmental Monitoring Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to ensure environmental regulations are met.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as environmental science or civil engineering. You will be working on site, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The physical demands of this role include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

About the Role:

  • Conduct field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to ensure environmental regulations are met
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment
  • Maintain equipment and enforce environmental, fire safety, and accident prevention regulations
  • Collect and analyze data and samples
  • Assist in supervising construction projects
  • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
  • Plan and organize construction projects
  • Conduct sampling and analysis using chromatography techniques

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as environmental science or civil engineering
  • Diploma or degree in a related field
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
