Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Global Finance, Regulatory Risk Governance group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the overall success of our organization by executing specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives in support of our team's mandate and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of regulatory risk management strategies and policies to ensure compliance with governing regulations and internal policies.
  • Monitor and improve internal controls for Global Finance operations across Canada, IB, GWM, and GBM, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance, advice, and counsel to Global Finance teams on regulatory risk management, internal controls, and operational risk management.
  • Develop and maintain specific training programs to ensure ongoing compliance with changing regulatory requirements, including dissemination of enterprise-wide policies to Global Finance teams.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Audit, Operational Risk, and Compliance Risk teams to implement and optimize regulatory risk management frameworks and internal controls.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Finance, Audit, or Risk environments.
  • Professional Accounting designation (CPA) is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of financial and management reporting principles, as well as knowledge of the Bank's products, operations, and procedures.
  • Strong analytical, data visualization, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Solid communication skills, with ability to interact with various Finance units at different management levels.
  • Excellent people skills to foster a positive work environment that values teamwork and provides a productive, enjoyable, and satisfying experience for all.
