Senior Manager, Regulatory Operations, Compliance Expert

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for regulatory compliance and operations management? Do you have a strong background in financial services and a keen eye for detail? We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Regulatory Operations team at Scotiabank.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of regulatory compliance programs and processes to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate regulatory risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of team members on regulatory compliance and operations management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and best practices.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of regulatory compliance activities, including documentation, testing, and reporting.
- Provide expert guidance and support to business lines on regulatory compliance and operations management, ensuring alignment with Scotiabank's risk culture and risk appetite.
- University degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or law.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in regulatory compliance and operations management.
- Expert knowledge of regulatory requirements, including FATCA, QI, and CRS.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
