Job Title: Truck Drivers Supervisor

Canadian Flatbeds Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers, ensuring they are aware of their schedules, routes, and delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor driver performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve productivity and safety.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues or concerns related to driver performance, vehicle maintenance, or cargo handling.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of logistics operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve driver retention, reduce turnover, and enhance overall driver satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including hours of service, weight and size restrictions, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure they are in good working condition and meet company standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of driver performance, vehicle maintenance, and cargo handling.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within the trucking industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with drivers and other team members.
