Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our engineering projects and ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Budgetary Responsibility: Oversee the budget and expenditures for engineering projects, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Policy Development: Establish and implement policies and procedures for engineering work, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Technical Evaluation: Evaluate technical designs and engineering work to ensure that they meet company standards and quality expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and instruct groups of engineers and technicians to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Contract Management: Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management plans to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Earned doctorate degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong leadership and management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Language: Bilingual (English and Spanish).
