Mainland Engineering Consultants Corporation is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings.
  • Participate in field surveys, inspections, or technical investigations.
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings.
  • Prepare project schedules.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Civil engineering experience in buildings and structures, waste handling sites, drainage and irrigation systems, pipelines, and water control systems.
  • Construction design and supervision, geotechnical, land planning and development.
Work Environment:
  • Work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Standing for extended periods.
