Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AI Technology Lead to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our Technology Solutions group, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic enterprise frameworks to enable the secure and stable delivery of AI across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AI Delivery and Innovation: Act as the single point of engagement for our AI Centre of Excellence, facilitating decisions with respect to technology delivery and potential options & risks which will have downstream impact on operational costs, solution resiliency and scalability.
  • Strategic Enterprise Frameworks: Build and maintain strategic enterprise frameworks to enable the secure and stable delivery of AI across the enterprise.
  • Knowledge Management: Deliver on knowledge management program including our Contact Centre, Retail and Corporate Segments.
  • IAP Program: Deliver on IAP program for our contact centres providing Cognitive AI for all lines of business.
  • Business Planning: Participate in business planning discussion and define the technology delivery approach for our data scientist partners.
  • Cost Optimization: Look for opportunities to minimize any negative cost impact and reduce delivery/operational costs of technology retiring existing predictive AI solutions and pitching for the adoption of the new/improved solution across the enterprise.
  • Technology Roadmap: Drive Technology target state to move away from the current bespoke tooling to our new AI platform and create roadmap-based technology investments.
  • Proof of Concepts: Perform POCs to validate approach and vendor selection.
  • Talent Acquisition: Identify and hire the engineering / technology talent required for the delivery team to enable ongoing value delivery.
  • Technology Risk & Control: Implement Technology Risk & Control defined standards and strategies for the Technology Solutions being delivered.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years' experience in technology and strategy focused roles
  • Strategic Thinking: Previous experience developing and executing strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both verbal, written and ability to present to senior management
  • Business Acumen: Understanding how business works in the context of the broader organization
  • Leadership Skills: Highly effective communicator who engages colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and employees
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent presentation, facilitation, interpersonal and leadership skills to facilitate working with senior management at all levels
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated relationship building skills, with a superior ability to make things happen using positive influence
  • Organizational Skills: Robust organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically
