About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned strategy professional to join our team as an AVP Strategy Lead. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of Peoples Trust, driving strategic initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the annual refresh of the Enterprise Strategy, defining long-term goals and objectives that align with the organization's vision and mission.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Analyze internal and external data to identify key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the bank's business.
- Prepare comprehensive business cases to justify strategic investments and initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to gather input, build consensus, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and business models to identify potential opportunities for growth.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics that align with the bank's strategic objectives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of proven experience in strategy at a management consulting firm or similar role in the industry.
- 7+ years of leading teams in a professional setting.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to audiences at all levels.
- A keen eye for detail and a strategic approach to problem-solving.
- Expertise in using data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from datasets.
- Strong understanding of the banking and payments industries, including regulatory landscape, economic trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
What We Offer
Peoples Trust is pleased to offer a competitive annual salary and discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $150,000 – $190,000 per year, depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities & experience that the chosen candidate possesses.
