AVP, Global Information Risk Assurance Program Leader

Job Description:
The Associate Vice President (AVP), Global Information Risk Assurance Program is a key leadership role at Company 1 - The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company requiring expertise in risk assurance, control testing, and strong collaboration skills. As the AVP, you will oversee the assurance of the enterprise's information risk management across all business segments globally. Reporting to the VP of Global Technology Risk Management, you will manage a team of individuals and be responsible for maintaining and evolving the Assurance and Control testing methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and evolve Assurance and Control testing methodology to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Manage stakeholders' expectations and ensure effective communication across the organization.
- Develop a high-performing Assurance Execution team with expertise in risk assurance and control testing.
- Advocate for a strong information risk culture within the organization.
- Stay informed about emerging information and technology risks to ensure proactive risk management.
Job Requirements:
- 15+ years of leadership experience in Assurance and Control testing, with a proven track record of success.
- Proven experience in building high-performing teams with expertise in risk assurance and control testing.
- Knowledge of relevant industry frameworks and standards.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to effectively manage stakeholders and teams.
- Recognized professional designations in risk management and assurance.
