Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team at Ontario Limited as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced early childhood educators to develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various media, such as art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent position with 40 to 44 hours of work per week.
  • Fluency in English.
