Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Esso Mount Elgin Convenience. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and allocate tasks to sales staff to ensure seamless store operations.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary inventory, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
- Sell Merchandise: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, merchandising trends, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Proactively address customer complaints, supply chain disruptions, and other operational challenges.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate stock levels, manage inventory turnover, and implement efficient storage solutions.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and motivate sales staff to achieve store goals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Manage Cash: Ensure accurate cash handling, reconcile transactions, and maintain a secure cash environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, excellent oral communication, team player, and ability to multitask
This is a permanent position with a 32-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
