Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Assistant Practitioner to join our pelvic health team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessment and treatment for individuals with pelvic floor dysfunction.

You will work closely with our team of physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement therapy treatment plans for individual patients and groups of patients.
  • Work with a delegated caseload of patients, within agreed guidelines, to progress patients' treatment and report back to the qualified therapist on patients' progression.
  • Carry out clinical assessments and implement relevant treatment programmes, including therapeutic handling and the use of specialist equipment or tools.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement and modernisation of the service by contributing to training and induction programmes and being involved in audit and evaluation activities.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of a Level 5 Foundation Degree in a relevant area. You will have experience working in a therapy setting with an in-depth knowledge of therapeutic principles. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
