About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dr Laffa Bakery. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service counter attendants and food preparers
    • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen and food service helpers
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Operational Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations
    • Manage and control food inventory and supplies
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with high volume of customers
    • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift heavy objects
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and excellent communication skills
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
