Clinical Professional: Delivering Holistic Patient Care

Job Summary
Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with our interprofessional team.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Address and resolve issues in a productive and respectful manner
• Exercise sound professional judgment and use best practice guidelines
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment for all through compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures
Requirements
• Current Certificate of Registration in the General Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Proven clinical experience with patient-focused care, including strong patient assessment, care planning, patient education and documentation skills
• 2-3 years of acute nursing experience
• Knowledge of the impact of violence (specifically domestic abuse and sexual assault) on patients
Preferred Qualifications
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an approved nursing program
• Membership in the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO)/Canadian Nurses Association (CNA)
• Experience working with SA/DV clients preferred
• 1 year Emergency, Critical Care or Telemetry experience
• Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Training preferred with the requirement to obtain at next available training session
• Photography skills
• Experience working with electronic medical records
