Job Overview

Mackenzie Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in various areas, including Critical Care, Emergency, Inpatient Medicine & Inpatient Surgery. As part of the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN), this opportunity offers $25,000 in grant funding to eligible nurses in exchange for a two-year commitment to an eligible employer.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Registered Nurse with Mackenzie Health, providing holistic, quality and safe care to patients within the scope of practice identified by the College of Nurses of Ontario. You will be part of an interprofessional care team, working collaboratively to create a world-class health experience for patients and their families.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a sound knowledge of English and an ability to deliver information effectively to others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills with an ability to work effectively with others, including patients and families.
  • Demonstrated strong decision-making, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality care and safety with an ability to exercise sound professional judgment and use best practice guidelines and evidence-based practice.
Benefits

We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages. Based on industry standards, we estimate the salary for this role to be around $95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. This estimate includes additional benefits such as training opportunities, paid time off, and retirement plans.
