Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and direction to the University's research activities, with a focus on Indigenous research and knowledge.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to promote and advance Indigenous research and knowledge.
- Collaborate with University leadership, faculty, and community stakeholders to identify research priorities and opportunities.
- Provide guidance and support to faculty and staff on research-related matters, including grant applications and research ethics.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance the University's research agenda.
- PhD in a relevant field, with a strong record of research and academic achievement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic administration, with a focus on research and Indigenous knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of Indigenous research ethics, management, and program assessment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
