The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a qualified Operations Project Manager to join our team in the Southern Operations, Traffic Engineering and Development Branch.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing engineering studies to improve highway safety and operations, including safety reviews, traffic operations studies, fatal collision reviews, and drainage studies. The successful candidate will possess a degree in Engineering and be eligible for registration in the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).

This role is part of our Highway Operations team, which contributes to the planning and operations of Saskatchewan's highway system in both rural and urban areas.

The Operations Project Manager will work closely with our team to deliver projects that improve road safety and efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of our Highway Operations team.

Key responsibilities of the Operations Project Manager include:

  • Performing engineering studies to improve highway safety and operations
  • Conducting safety reviews, traffic operations studies, fatal collision reviews, and drainage studies
  • Collaborating with the Highway Operations team to deliver projects that improve road safety and efficiency
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Contributing to the overall success of the Highway Operations team

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
