Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

About the Role:
  • This is a supervisory position that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating staff activities, ensuring high standards of customer service and quality food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Train new staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure that all areas of the food service department meet health and safety regulations and company standards.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a supervisor or team lead in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Knowledge of food preparation and presentation standards, with the ability to train others.
  • Able to estimate ingredient and supply requirements accurately.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and company policies.
