Job Description

Greenstone Financial Services Canada is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Administrative Assistant to support the Compliance Manager in setting up a framework for our Canadian operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide dedicated administrative support to the Compliance Manager, ensuring quality service and professionalism.
  • Under the guidance of the Compliance Co-ordinator, complete and submit initial individual applications for advisor's licenses in all applicable provinces and territories, as well as annual renewals.
  • Maintain a register of Insurance Advisor Licensing approvals, including onboarding and offboarding of advisors.
  • Engage with sponsoring insurers regarding advisor licensing.
  • Provide regular updates on progress, new approvals, and licensing cancellations to the Director and Co-ordinator.
  • Perform general administration functions, including providing administrative support to the Director and ensuring that advisors meet their Continuing Education requirements.
  • Keep the Director and Coordinator informed and up-to-date about the status/progress of projects and day-to-day activities.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Internet applications.
  • A dynamic professional with a willingness to learn and take initiative on upcoming assignments and projects.
  • Effective teamwork and flexibility in adjusting to changing work priorities.
  • Previous experience working in compliance in the financial services industry is a bonus.
Work Environment:

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. The company offers a ~500 Health spending account.
