Chef de Cuisine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at La Baracca. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring the highest quality and consistency in every dish.
Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to optimize kitchen operations.
- Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu planning and kitchen management decisions.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Supervise and train cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and menus.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to source high-quality ingredients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques to continuously improve kitchen operations.
- 3-4 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing kitchen teams.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Fluency in English.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic kitchen environment and maintain a high level of energy and focus throughout their shift.
