Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee large, complex, multi-year initiatives. The successful individual will be responsible for managing end-to-end, critical projects that drive business improvements and strategic objectives for the company.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for delivering a final project that is on time, on budget, and meets or exceeds the expectations of stakeholders and/or clients. This includes projects and programs aimed at retrofits, upgrades, replacements, adding of capacity, and building new multimillion-dollar manufacturing, research and development, and supply chain facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ownership, accountability, and oversight for assigned programs and projects.
  • Responsible for planning, executing, tracking, managing of cost, schedule, quality, and scope.
  • Able to handle multiple projects or programs at any one time.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members.
  • Ability to flex between wearing multiple hats as a strategic and operational leader.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience as a Project Manager required; preferably working in a structured PMO and technical environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical leadership experience required ideally from a construction or engineering background.
  • Experience in leading enterprise-level or large-scale projects or programs involving multiple business teams.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment would be an asset.
  • Bachelors or master's degree with a STEM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math).
  • MBA would be an asset.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or equivalent certifications
  • Lean Six Sigma – Black belt certification preferred.
  • Bilingualism would be an asset
