Senior Project Manager

IPEX is a leading provider of thermoplastic piping products, and we are expanding our operations in Canada and the U.S. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee large, complex, multi-year initiatives.

The successful individual will be responsible for managing end-to-end, critical projects that drive business improvements and strategic objectives for the IPEX Group of Companies. Reporting to the Director, Project Management Office (PMO), the Senior Project Manager is the go-to person for all aspects of project management and activities associated with the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ownership, accountability, and oversight for assigned programs and projects.
  • Responsible for planning, executing, tracking, managing of cost, schedule, quality, and scope.
  • Able to handle multiple projects or programs at any one time.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members.
  • Ability to flex between wearing multiple hats as a strategic and operational leader.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience as a Project Manager required; preferably working in a structured PMO and technical environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical leadership experience required ideally from a construction or engineering background.
  • Experience in leading enterprise level or large-scale projects or programs involving multiple business teams.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment would be an asset.
  • Bachelors or master's degree with a STEM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math).
  • MBA would be an asset.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or equivalent certifications
  • Lean Six Sigma – Black belt certification preferred.
  • Bilingualism would be an asset
