At ZGF Architects, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BIM Coordinator Specialist to join our team in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using Revit and managing design software on large, complex projects.

We offer an excellent compensation package for this role, with an estimated salary of $80,000 annually, dependent on education and experience.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who can ensure model preparations and audits are carried out before sharing externally to project partners. As a BIM Coordinator Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Serving as an expert resource and mentor, helping staff resolve problems arising from the use of Revit on design projects.
  • Monitoring project Revit models for issues relating to quality and team efficiency.
  • Creating and managing specialized content as needed for multiple project types.
  • DIRECTING teams in the use of firm BIM/Design Technology standards, project organization and best-practices.
  • Supporting the Design Technology Manager in the implementation of office-wide design software strategies and staff training.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience using Revit and managing design software on large, complex multi-phase projects and teams.
  • Bachelor of Architecture or Engineering, Architectural and Building Technology Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience self-managing workload.
  • The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and succinctly both orally and written.
  • Effective collaboration and contribution to a geographically dispersed technology team.
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360) project management.
