About the Role

We are currently seeking applications for a School Psychologist position:

  • Permanent - Full-Time/Part-time
  • Contract - Full-Time/Part-time

This role will be effective immediately throughout the academic school year.

Salary Range: $70,574 - $113,928 (Master's Degree) / $80,403 - $123,941 (Ph.D. in Psychology)

Location: Board-Wide – Multiple Locations

Job Summary

School Psychologists will work under the administrative direction of the Superintendent of Special Education and Learning Services or designate, and the clinical direction of the Chief Psychologist.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Administering psychological assessments measuring intellectual, academic, social, behavioral, and emotional/mental health functioning in children and adolescents.
  2. Consulting, counseling, and providing primary, secondary, and tertiary intervention programs and techniques.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • A Doctoral degree in School, Clinical, or Counseling Psychology.
  • Evidence of commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Previous experience in a school psychology setting is an asset.
  • Ability to consult, counsel, and provide intervention programs and techniques.
