Job Summary:

Cogeco is seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct customer support via phone, email, or chat, resolving technical issues and answering customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, staying up-to-date on new technologies and trends.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
  • Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets, reducing churn and increasing revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Networking, or Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role, with a strong understanding of wired and wireless networking standards and protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and French.
  • Ability to work in a shift-based environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
