We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at La Rozzi Bistro and Filipino Grocery Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
- Food Service Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Work Setting
- Restaurant environment.
- Personal Suitability
- Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
The successful candidate will work 32 hours per week in a permanent position, with a work language of English.
