Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served to our high standards.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and taking corrective action as necessary.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that they feel valued and respected.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk, making this role physically demanding.
