For over 90 years, The Link has been dedicated to supporting youth and families on their journey toward healing, hope, and improved lives. As an inclusive community, we strive to strengthen and empower a sense of belonging, pride, and purpose within the children, youth, and families we serve. With over 15 diverse programs, our team of caring staff provides vital support through various initiatives, including a 24-hour crisis line, youth resource centers, emergency shelters, mobile crisis teams, specialized foster care, healing homes, job readiness supports, and Skills4Life.
About the Opportunity
The Clinical Specialist plays a crucial role in providing screening, intake, and support services to youth and families within our organization.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of youth and families to determine their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct clinical services, including individual therapy, group counseling, and family support.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with established protocols.
- Advocate for the needs of youth and families within the community and system of care.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current registration with the relevant professional regulatory body.
- Experience working with youth and families in a clinical setting.
- Strong assessment, intervention, and crisis management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
