About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Specialist to join our team in Thompson, Manitoba. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing screening, intake, assessments, and referral services for children and youth in care. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing therapeutic plans that address the unique needs of each individual, promoting healing, growth, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans that prioritize the needs of each youth and their caregivers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
  • Provide on-going consultation and support to staff and caregivers, promoting a trauma-informed approach to healing and recovery.
  • Monitor treatment plans and document clinical activities, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • Represent The Link at multi-system meetings, advocating for the needs of our clients and promoting our organization's mission and values.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in Human Services or Social Work.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a social work or human services setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Manitoba Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
  • First Aid/CPR Level C certificate and De-escalation training.
