About the OpportunityThe Clinical Specialist will play a critical role in providing high-quality therapeutic services to children and youth in care. This position will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each youth. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with youth, caregivers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as consultation and support to caregivers and other professionals.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Resource Table to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
- Participate in multi-system meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in youth care.
- Document all clinical activities and maintain accurate records of youth progress and treatment outcomes.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work or counseling.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with youth and families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
- Valid Manitoba driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
