Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Vehicle Repair Specialist to join our Service/Fixed Operations team. This full-time permanent position offers a competitive pay and includes a tool allowance program, wage top-up program, growth and training opportunities, boot allowance, and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical problems in a variety of vehicles.
- Conduct several types of services and repairs on customer vehicles according to established procedures and manufacturers' requirements.
- Effectively use hand tools, power tools, and other specialized automotive repair equipment.
- Clock on and off on the work order for each individual service and repair case.
- Document all information resulting from tests and repairs conducted on vehicles, including required parts and labor.
- Constantly communicate with service consultants and/or customers for repair progress, additional work, wait times, missing parts, etc.
- Comply with H&S responsibilities, including safe work procedures and reporting all work-related injuries.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and advisors to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
- A minimum of 1st year Service Station Technician or equivalent experience.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to handle lifting up to 80 lbs as part of your responsibilities.
- The role involves both indoor and outdoor tasks in an environment that can be noisy and dusty at times.
- Competitive salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
