Job Description:

As a Service Advisor at Bruce Chevrolet Buick GMC - Digby, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers, assessing their automotive needs, and providing recommendations for services and repairs. You will also be responsible for scheduling appointments, communicating with the parts department, and maintaining accurate records of services provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs
  • Listen to customers and ask relevant questions to understand their vehicle issues
  • Advise customers on recommended automotive services and repair options, including costs and timeframes
  • Schedule automotive service appointments and follow up with customers as needed
  • Communicate with the parts department and technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Provide customers with regular updates on the status of their vehicles
  • Maintain accurate records of automotive services provided and ensure proper documentation is completed
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay up-to-date on automotive products, services, and industry trends
  • Potential for gradual cross-training to assist the Parts Department

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service or sales role, automotive experience considered an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to work within Business Hours (Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm)
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
