Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator Helper to join our team at Brushup Painting Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will assist our experienced painters and decorators in completing various tasks on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other structures to ensure safe access to work areas.
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into the ground, providing support for buildings and other structures.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to complete various construction tasks.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Help with framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, as well as assisting with demolition and cleanup tasks.
  • Perform routine maintenance work and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
  • Permanent work term and 30-40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
