Job Title: Painter and Decorator Helper

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Painter and Decorator Helper to join our team at Brushup Painting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will assist our experienced painters and decorators in various tasks related to painting and decorating projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other equipment as required.
  • Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into the ground for building support.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance work.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed outdoors, at heights, and underground.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 30-40 hours per week.
