We are seeking a skilled Production Planning and Control Specialist to join our team at LED Roadway Lighting Limited. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient scheduling and planning of our production processes.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production bottlenecks and optimize workflows.
  • Analyze data and reports to inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of production plans, schedules, and performance metrics.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant work experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and other productivity tools.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
