Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Class 1 driver to join our team as a Local Truck Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
  • Manage routes and schedules to optimize efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Mileage rate - $0.48/mile (starting rate)
  • Pick-up and wait time - $20.00/hour

Requirements

  • Class 1 license
  • At least 2 years truck driving experience
  • Criminal background check
  • Current drivers abstract
  • Verifiable driving experience
  • Strong communication skills - written and spoken
