We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Conners Transfer Limited. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Manage vehicle maintenance and report any issues to the maintenance team.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
- Air Brakes Endorsement.
- Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate.
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Physically demanding work environment.
- Repetitive tasks and sitting for extended periods.
- Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight handling.
