Job Title: Truck Driver

CONNORS TRANSFER LIMITED is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across various routes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including hours of service, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks).
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
