Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Conners Transfer Limited. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer and transport goods across the country
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Perform brake adjustments and other maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
