Compliance Officer

Your primary responsibilities will include delivering compliance and safety awareness, driving compliance improvement, and analyzing data to identify program execution gaps and trends. You will also participate in regulatory visits, execute and manage the hourly associate accident file process, and foster 2-way communication with Store Management.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of compliance regulations and a proven track record of driving compliance improvement. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including Store Management and Subject Matter Experts.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Deliver compliance and safety awareness leveraging Ethics and Compliance resources.
* Drive compliance improvement by conducting assessments in your facility across designated compliance subject matter areas.
* Analyze data to identify program execution gaps and/or trends, identify root cause and support the creation and execution of action plans that will mitigate the risk and drive compliance execution.
* Participate in regulatory visits (except Health & Wellness and Human Resource related matters) including the online submission and engaging the appropriate partners for resolution of orders or fines.
* Execute and manage the hourly associate accident file process including online submission, accident investigations, modified offer letters and follow up until resolution.
* Foster 2-way communication with Store Management that allows for attendance management, progress note completion and accountability to occur as required.
* Assist with collection and verification of required items/documents for customer claim folders.
* Submit and follow up to Facilities Maintenance requests including the management of pest activity.
* Leverage and utilize escalation tools to resolve issues and outstanding tickets.
* Conduct safety walks and inspections as an active safety team member.
* Follow up on action items identified through Safety Team meeting notes & Inspections.
**What You'll Need:**
* Age – 16 or older
* Strong understanding of compliance regulations
* Proven track record of driving compliance improvement
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to analyze data and identify program execution gaps and trends
* Ability to create and execute action plans to mitigate risk and drive compliance execution
