Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Lead to join our team at Walmart Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with various levels of management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver compliance and safety awareness training to associates and managers
  • Conduct assessments and identify areas for improvement in compliance subject matter areas such as health and safety, environmental, consumer protection, and anti-money laundering
  • Analyze data to identify program execution gaps and trends, and develop action plans to mitigate risk and drive compliance execution
  • Participate in regulatory visits and online submissions, and engage with partners to resolve orders or fines
  • Manage the hourly associate accident file process, including online submission, accident investigations, and follow-up
  • Foster 2-way communication with Store Management to ensure attendance management, progress note completion, and accountability
  • Assist with collection and verification of required items/documents for customer claim folders
  • Submit and follow up on Facilities Maintenance requests, including pest activity management
  • Conduct safety walks and inspections as an active safety team member
