Executive Leadership Position

Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan is seeking a visionary Executive Director to lead strategic operations and enhance community outreach efforts. As a key member of the organization's leadership team, you will co-lead the organization's strategic vision, goals, and objectives alongside the Artistic Director.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Ensure the organization's overall management and internal operations are running smoothly, efficiently, and effectively.
- Strategic Management: Collaborate with the Artistic Director to develop and implement the organization's strategic plan, goals, and objectives.
- Financial Oversight: Provide financial leadership and oversight, including budgeting, financial reporting, and grant writing.
- Board Governance: Work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure effective governance, strategic planning, and decision-making.
- Employee and Volunteer Leadership: Foster a positive and productive work environment, mentoring, motivating, and coaching team members and volunteers.
- Past Experience: Proven track record of success in a strategic leadership role, demonstrating business acumen and leadership skills.
- Funding and Grant Writing: Strong understanding of funding sources and experience writing and reporting grant applications.
- Financial Management: Ability to create and manage operational budgets, understand financial statements, and make informed financial decisions.
- Board Governance and Not-for-Profit Experience: Strong experience in board governance and working within the not-for-profit sector.
- Leadership and Team Management: Positive team leader with the ability to mentor, motivate, and coach team members.
- Superior Leadership Skills: Ability to build, cultivate, and nurture stakeholder relationships.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Initiative and Organization: Takes initiative, highly organized, and able to prioritize competing priorities.
- Creativity and Adaptability: Creative, able to adapt and pivot with new opportunities.
