About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Brews Brothers Bistro LTD. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of a team of kitchen staff, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
    • Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food meets quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
    • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance and stock levels.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
  • Work Environment
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of noise and odours.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
